Dubbo Floods 2010. 11AM Dec 4th. River is still rising.
We drove from Sydney to Dubbo yesterday. The Wellington Road was closed so we had to drive via Mudgee. There was some water across the Dunedoo Road 30km out from Dubbo but it was passable. -

The best place to find out what’s happening on a week by week basis in Dubbo is the Dubbo Toursism Website. It keeps a number of lists of events including Major Events, Sporting Events and more.
For a list of the latest Arts related events in the Central West NSW and around Dubbo check out the Orana Arts Event Guide.
The Dubbo council keeps a list of the events it runs like Bike Week, Council Cleanup and so on here.
The Macquarie Conservatorium keeps a list of upcoming concerts and events here.

Dubbo to Sydney is fine both ways – via Mudgee and via Orange.
